What to look for when buying laundry containers?

 

1. First of all, this is the dimensions of the container. They must correspond to the vehicles that are planned to be used for their transportation. The efficiency of linen delivery to your client is largely determined by the density of the containers loaded into the car body.

2. The usability and habits of the personnel who will operate the container are of great importance. Based on our supply experience, many laundries in the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland use rubber belts instead of doors.

3. The wheels must withstand the required static and dynamic loads mainly. The thickness of the metal the bracket is made of and the type of bearing used are important here. The wheel manufacturer must comply with the conditions to avoid contamination of the floor, and the locking mechanism must be very reliable. We have only one German company. We have cases where our partners, who were trying to save money, bought a container without wheels, and then we had to replace the already installed wheels with ours.

4. Today, all manufacturers use almost one type of coating. It looks beautiful, but does not always correspond to new market trends. Hygiene requirements for containers are becoming higher, which means thorough washing of containers. Washing with hot water or steam is a serious test for the surface. In this regard, the service life of the container will be reduced. For those laundries that are not satisfied with the service life of galvanizing, we can offer new interesting types of coatings.

Another area of our business is the development of a trolley with a spring-loaded bottom for wet laundry. We assume that times have changed, linen from wet has become damp and this allows you to change the design. We offer a more economical option, in comparison with traditional aluminum trolleys, in 2 sizes, which has been successfully operated in Czech laundries for more than 2 years.
